Okta SSO Setup

Configure Okta as a SAML IdP for Bytescale.

Configure the SAML app

In Okta Admin Console, create a new App Integration.
Select SAML 2.0 as the sign-on method.
Set the Single sign-on URL to the Bytescale ACS URL.
Set the Audience URI (SP Entity ID) to the Bytescale Entity ID.
Enable "Use this for Recipient URL and Destination URL".
Set Name ID format to Unspecified and Application username to Email.
Configure these attribute statements:
Name Name format Value
email Unspecified user.email
firstName Unspecified user.firstName
lastName Unspecified user.lastName
Group membership is not required for Bytescale SSO.
Save the app.
Download or copy the IdP metadata XML from the Sign On tab and paste it into Bytescale.
Verify each email domain by clicking it in the SSO IdP table.
Bytescale will not use your IdP until the domain is verified, and it will check the domain for up to 72 hours.
